1. Temperature Preparation
Allow the screening device and specimen to reach room temperature (15–30°C) prior to testing. Do not eat, drink, smoke, or vape for at least 10–15 minutes before the test. Rinsing the mouth with plain water is recommended to remove residual food particles, but avoid using mouthwash.

2. Unpack the Test Device
Remove the screening device from its sealed pouch.

3. Unpack the Collection Swab
Remove the collector from its clear plastic.

4. Collect the Saliva Sample
Have the donor sweep the inside of the mouth (cheek, gum, tongue) 5–10 times. To collect a sufficient sample, swab horizontally in a circular motion throughout the process until the saturation indicator strip displays a red color, indicating that enough saliva has been gathered.

5. Prepare the Testing Device
Place the screening device on a clean flat surface, then open the cap of the testing device.

6. Insert the Swab into the Device
Remove the collection sponge from the mouth and insert the sponge into the screening device. Push it in gently and slowly until it touches the bottom of the screening device.

7. Secure and Lock the Device
Push the cap down firmly until it is locked securely into place on the screening device. You will hear a click. This secure insertion activates the test strip and begins the testing process.

8. Set the Timer
Immediately start a timer for 10 minutes once the mechanism is activated. Allow the device to sit undisturbed on the flat surface while the results develop.

9. Wait for the Test Strips to Develop
Wait for the coloured signal to appear in the test results area.

10. Reading the Results
Official results must be read at exactly 10 minutes. A visible control (C) line and test (T) line indicate a negative result, while a missing test (T) line indicates a presumptive positive result.
